Laboratory Information Systems

A Laboratory Information System (LIS) manages the complete workflow of a medical laboratory — from sample collection and test ordering to result processing, reporting, and quality control. A well-implemented LIS reduces turnaround times, eliminates manual errors, and ensures results reach clinicians in real time.

What’s included

LIS–Analyser / Equipment Interfacing

Analyser interfacing is the direct electronic connection between a laboratory analyser and the LIS, so that test results are transmitted automatically from the instrument into the system — eliminating manual transcription errors and dramatically reducing turnaround time. We design, configure, and support middleware-based interfacing solutions that connect your analyser fleet to your LIS seamlessly.

Sample Tracking App for Referral Samples

When samples are collected at one facility and referred to a reference laboratory for specialised testing, visibility is often lost in transit. Our sample tracking mobile app gives couriers, sending facilities, and receiving labs a shared, real-time view of every referral sample — ensuring accountability at every step.

Integration of Sample Tracking App with LIMS

The sample tracking app integrates directly with your LIMS, so that when a referred sample is received and registered at the reference lab, the record is automatically linked to the originating request. Results flow back through the same integration, creating a fully closed-loop referral workflow.
